Welcome to Pajama Crafter Stamps!
Hello crafty friends! It’s Rick here with you today to share a card using the Sliding By Stamp Set. My card today is a great card for any occasion letting that special person know that they are a great catch.
You’re a Great Catch Pajama Crafter Stamps Sliding By Stamp Set:
My card today features the Sliding By Stamp Set (from the Pajama Crafter Stamps). The Stamp Set features three cute penguins in various activities along with a set of pine trees. It also has three wintery sentiments. To create my card I used my Tombow Dual Brush Pens to color up my little ice fishing penguins and the pine trees.
To color up my little scene I stamped my images using Memento Toffee Crunch Ink. Which is my go to ink for a no line coloring look but is so much easier because it takes on colors that go over it. Since I was using my Tombow Brush Markers to color the image I had to stamp it onto a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock. The Bristol Smooth allows you to blend the Tombow Dual Brush Pens with or with out water.
For the sky and selective areas of the background I used my distress oxide inks in Stormy Sky and Speckled Egg. These inks mixed with the Bristol cardstock makes blending a breeze. For the sky I blended both colors starting with Speckled Egg and then added a little Stormy Sky at the top.
Once all the color had dried it was time to add some final details. I took my WOW Embossing Pen and added areas where I wanted snow to be on both the trees and the ground. For the snow I used my WOW White Puff Embossing Powder. Once heat set the White Puff Powder creates great snow. After that I used a little white acrylic paint mixed with a little water and splattered on a little extra snow. To finish off the card I added a few of the Boyfriend Blue Rhinestones to the card front after adding it to a card base.
Thanks for dropping by today I hope that you have a wonderful week.
