Today I have a card using a Prickley Pear Stamp called Noah’s Ark. I have big plans for the stamp set as a whole but I thought it would be fun to do a project using only half of the main image. It really takes on a whole new look when you use just a piece of the stamp!
I added a few of the small stamps to build my scene (the sun, flowers, birds and cloud) then colored it with Copic markers. I grabbed a sentiment from the Fall Leaves set (this set is retiring but this sentiment is one of my new favorites so I will use it until I find a new favorite. 🙂 I used some stash backgrounds to add a little dimension then I added to my little panel.
I hope you like it and are inspired to look at your stamps in a new way. By stamping only part of the image, you may find you get new life from them.
