Fluffy Hugs

Big fluffy hugs on this third day of 2025! The weather has been mild here; however, my current art project allows me to fully indulge in the imaginative depiction of a winter wonderland and the soft, comforting feeling of fluffy hugs.

This adorable penguin is from the Yeti Friends Stamp and Die Bundled set. I love that the Yeti Friends stamp set includes penguin footprints!

My first step in this project was to make a winter wonderland where this lovable penguin could shine. I began by stenciling soft, snowy hills onto the paper. Layering shades of icy blue gave the scene depth. The gentle curves in the landscape made an inviting playground for the star of the piece. Next, I stamped the tiny penguin footprints meandering across the snowy hills. These footprints not only add charm but also tell a story. This little fella has come a long way to give a comforting fluffy hug!
