I have a fun mixed media project for you today.
I started with the St. Cat-Tricks Day set, which is part of the February New Release. I stamped the shamrocks and shamrock outlines in two color of green ink and then fussy cut them.
The next step was to great an ink blended background, again choosing a variety of greens as well as some green mica stain from my stash. I then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in gold on the bottom right of the panel.
I took a black marker and added a vine for my shamrocks on the left side of the panel. Then I curled up some green wire that I have had for WAY TOO long – like 20 years long and made little curls around the black vine. I added some foam adhesive to the backs of the shamrocks and started adding them mostly in threes to the vine. I created a shamrock vine climbing up the side of the panel. Now, I know that shamrocks don’t grow on vines but this is my creative license in card making right?
The last thing I did was to add the green panel to a top folding card panel.

A little close up of all the greens in this card.
I hope you enjoy today’s card!
