Hello everyone! I’m happy to be back this week sharing with you a couple fun cards I made. I used Prehistoric Birthday to create BOTH of these cards. There are a lot of similar elements to each card but I still made them different. This is a fun way to get multiple cards made when you have all your supplies out YET still keeping each card looking “original”. Both cards have the same patterned paper (therefore the same color scheme), embossing folder, and trim. And both are birthday cards. I will highlight a few differences for you on these Dino-mite Birthday cards.

On this first card I stamped the balloon so the t-rex is holding it. If you follow me for any amount of time, you will know that I always add glossy accents to balloons on my cards. I like to do this to give them a more “realistic” look. So this HBD balloon is glossy, giving my mini “scene” more interest. To finish off this card, I found that “perfect” random brad in my stash….I LOVE when that happens! Don’t you?

This next card turned out to be my fave of the two (am I allowed to pick a favorite?? LOL). I chose to do a horizontal profile for this card. This was mainly to accommodate the large word die and sentiment combo. I love doing this with large word dies as it gives the sentiment more interest than a traditionally stamped one. And this Dang, Whoa Yikes! Word and Shadow Dies from Pajama Crafter Stamps is so fantastic for just that! A set I will most definitely be using on repeat!

I hope you have enjoyed my creations this week and that you feel inspired to grab some Pajama Crafter Stamps & Dies and get card making!
