Hi crafty friends! Judy V here sharing an ocean-inspired mixed media card created for Pajama Crafter Stamps. I combined stenciling, bold sentiments, stamped images and fun die-cut embellishments to bring this underwater scene to life!
The background features the Casted Net Stencil, softly ink-blended to mimic the gentle flow of ocean currents. The sentiment background is one of the flashcards from Beach Retreat Flashcards. I added color to some of the words with a blue marker and outlined some of the words with a blue glitter gel pen.
I die cut and matted the focal flashcard. Driftwood and sea shell elements from Beach Hut Stamps were stamped, colored with pencils and fussy cut. They are combined with die cut seaweed and a ship’s wheel, with dies from my stash, to building a mini ocean floor. A touch of sparkle on the blue border and Opalescence Confetti Embellishments add just the right amount of shimmer!
