Hello there!
OK so maybe its a bit early for Thanksgiving….BUUUUTTT tomorrow is October! And if you’re like me, dates come and go before I’ve even thought of making a card. SO this is your reminder to pull out those fall goodies and get creating…
And even better – Pajama Crafter Stamps has a new stamp set that is perfect for Thanksgiving! It’s cute and funny and it captures the “true” holiday in the way many of us experience it. I made three cards with this set for today because it’s THAT good…
So without further ado…allow me to introduce to you Food Coma Ready.
I made all three of my cards in the same softer fall color palette – a bit of a twist on the traditional. I also colored all the stamped images using Copic markers. Because of this the three cards look like a “set” even though they are all different.
Are you one of “those” people? You know? The ones who run on holidays? LOL! Even when I was an avid runner I never did run on holidays…I considered them a day of rest. However, if you and/or your family like to run on Thanksgiving – this is a hilarious way to commemorate that! And even if not the sentiment is just plain funny and works for turkey regardless.
This next card captures the “realness” of holidays for many families…DRAMA! Again another hilarious sentiment! I chose to pair it with the Pajama Crafter Stamps Dang, Whoa, Yikes Word & Shadow Dies. I love to use sentiments in combo with word dies and these definitely fit the vibe on this card….look at that turkeys face…hehe!!
For the final card I am sharing, I made a nice tradition Happy Thanksgiving card.
