Hello creative friends!
Today I’m featuring the Wienerful Christmas stamp set and oh my goodness, it’s pure dachshund delight! 🐾 This set includes two adorable wiener dog images, sweet little gifts and ornaments, plus four pun-filled holiday sentiments that will make you smile.
For my card, I chose the dachshund carrying a Christmas tree on his back. I stamped him toward the bottom of a panel of watercolor paper, then painted a snowy hill beneath him and a vibrant winter sky in shades of blue, pink, and yellow. After watercoloring the pup, I splattered the whole panel with white paint for a snowy effect.
Next, I created a sentiment element: I cut a circle from watercolor paper and trimmed off the right edge before stamping (ask me how I learned that step—haha!). On the circle, I stamped the round ornament and added a hand-drawn line so it dangles from the last word in the sentiment: Dachshund through the snow. Seriously, how cute is that? To finish it off, I tied on a little green plaid bow at the top of the circle for extra holiday charm.
