Shilo here with another fun-fold card to share with you this month!
How fun did this card turn out? I can see why people enjoy making these fun-fold cards – they almost add an interactive element. Plus they lend a lot of room to play with all your crafty goodies. AND this card is FULL of Pajama Crafter Stamp supplies – YAY!
With this double barn door card, I had fun creating a winter wonderland for these sweet little penguins. The Pajama Crafter Stamps Sliding By Stamp & Die Set was perfect for this winter playground.
Each flip of the card shows the fun these cuties are having this season. I used the NEW Taupe Tidings Paper Pack to create my snowy skies with lots of Opalescence Confetti to add sparkle.
I knew I wanted this card to be a Christmas card even with all the winter goodness, so I paired it with the sentiments from the Pajama Crafter Stamps Rustic Christmas Owl Stamp Set.
The Metallic Medley Paper Pack was perfect to use for my “ice” – I love all the sparkle it adds – it also catches the light and colors around it.
I also kept the back panel “open” creating a hidden pocket…. this can be used for money, a gift card, or a Christmas letter.
I had “snow” much fun creating this card to share with you all. This was a labor of love. While I enjoyed the process very much– all the details took me way longer than my normal card making…but what do you think? Worth it?
I definitely am in love with the end results and look forward to giving this card to the recipients….
