Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to bring out your creative side and make something special for your loved ones! In this post, I’ll guide you through creating a delightful A2 Valentine featuring the adorable Chicken-and-Waffles stamp set from Pajama Crafter Stamps.
Supplies You’ll Need
- Pajama Crafter Stamps’ Chicken-and-Waffles stamp set
- Marshmallow cardstock
- Paper trimmer
- Copic markers for coloring
- Awesome Sauce, individual bottle or bundle (bundle includes laminated travel mat and full-size bottle)
- White gel pen
- Crystal Effects for a glossy finish
- Tape Runner Adhesive
- Bearly Arts Liquid Glue
Prepare Your Card Base
- Cut a piece of Marshmallow cardstock to A2 size (4.25″ x 5.5″).
Stamp Your Images
- Use the Chicken-and-Waffles stamp set to stamp images on a piece of cardstock. Aim for a variety of fun pieces, including the chicken and waffles.
- Remember to leave some space between the images so you can cut them into blocks later.
Cut Stamped Images
- With your paper trimmer, cut the stamped images into various blocks. This will create a quirky, postage-style collage effect.

Ink Blending Background
- Using Awesome Sauce, blend ink on the A2 card base. This will create a soft and inviting background for your collage.
- Experiment with colors to achieve a cozy vibe. I wanted a pale blue for a farmhouse feel.
Color Your Images
- Lightly color your stamped images with Copic markers. Here’s a suggested color combo:
- Chicken: YR23, YR31, E31
- Waffles: E23, E30
- Blend smoothly for a realistic look.
Add Highlights
- Use a white gel pen to add highlights to the images, making them pop against the background.
Assemble Your Card
- Start arranging your image blocks on the card base. Play around with positioning until you find an arrangement you love.
- Once satisfied, adhere the blocks with TapeRunner Adhesive Tape.
Finishing Touches
- Apply Crystal Effects to the syrup on your waffles for a glossy, syrupy shine. This will add that extra charm to your card!
