Sometimes the best creativity happens when you’re given a challenge—and this card is the perfect example of that!
During my recent live, I took on a Craft Roulette challenge and created this bright, playful card featuring the adorable Buggin’ You stamp set. If you love combining bold design with fun techniques, this one is definitely for you!

🎲 Craft Roulette Parameters
This card was inspired by the following parameters:
- Project: Hello
- Element: Hops / Hopping
- Colors: Strawberry Fields
- Random: Big Letters
At first glance, these might seem tricky to combine—but that’s where the fun begins!
The sweet little ladybug brings in that hopping element, while the soft reds and pinks from the Spring Plaids paper pack tie beautifully into the Strawberry Fields color palette. And of course… we went BIG with that bold HELLO sentiment!
✂️ Products Used
To create this card, I used:
- Spring Plaids Paper Pack – for those gorgeous patterned letters
- Buggin’ You Stamp Set – featuring the cutest ladybug character
- Coal Cardstock – for a strong, grounding base
- Black Photocorners – to add a subtle design detail and finish
The oversized sentiment was created using my Scan N Cut, but this technique can easily be replicated with any electronic cutting machine you have on hand.

🌈 Rainbow Hair Coloring
I walked through how to create a vibrant, blended rainbow hair look using markers—keeping the transitions smooth while still letting each color shine.
🌿 Adding Texture to Grass
Simple strokes and layering bring the grassy area to life, adding depth and grounding the scene beautifully.
☁️ Copic Cloud Background
Soft, blended clouds were created using Copic markers to give the background a dreamy, airy feel without overpowering the focal image.
