These quick and easy graduation cards are perfect for batch crafting and can be completed in a single session. By using just one stamp and die set along with flashcards from Pajama Crafter Stamps, you’ll create a variety of beautiful handmade graduation cards that are both personalized and professional-looking.
Whether you’re making cards for high school graduates, college graduates, or special friends and family members, these simple graduation card ideas help you maximize your crafting time while minimizing supplies. Follow along as I share easy cardmaking techniques, creative layouts, and time-saving tips to help you create multiple DIY graduation cards that celebrate this important milestone in style.

Coordinate Your Color Palette
When creating multiple graduation cards in one session, choosing a simple and coordinated color palette can save a surprising amount of time. Instead of selecting different colors for every card, stick to two or three complementary shades that work well together. This makes it easier to choose cardstock, ink, embellishments, and patterned papers while creating a cohesive collection of graduation cards.
You can also customize your cards by incorporating school colors when needed, while keeping the overall design consistent. A streamlined color palette not only speeds up the creative process but also gives your handmade graduation cards a polished and professional look.
Maximize Your Time by Prepping Once
When you’re making multiple graduation cards, batch prepping your supplies can save a tremendous amount of time. Before assembling any cards, I cut all of my card bases and inside panels, then stamped and die cut all of my accent pieces at once. Having everything prepared and organized ahead of time made the assembly process much faster and more efficient.
Another advantage of the Hats Off Stamp & Die Bundle is that the images are relatively small, making them quick and easy to color. Whether you prefer alcohol markers, colored pencils, or watercolors, you can add vibrant color to your die-cut pieces in just a few minutes. Just be sure to use a stamping ink that is compatible with your chosen coloring medium to prevent smearing or bleeding.
Taking a little extra time to prep all of your materials upfront allows you to move seamlessly from card to card, making it easy to create an entire batch of handmade graduation cards in a single crafting session.

Simplify Your Design by Limiting Supplies
One of the easiest ways to create multiple graduation cards in a single crafting session is to keep your supply list small. For these handmade graduation cards, I used just a few key products: the Pajama Crafter Stamps Graduation Flashcards and the Hats Off Stamp & Die Bundle, Coal Cardstock and white cardstock.
To streamline the process, I started with a black card base for each design, added a Graduation Flashcard as the focal point, and accented each card with a stamped and die-cut image from the Hats Off Stamp & Die Bundle and a Photo Corner in black. For the inside of the card, I used the same stamp set on a 4″ x 5.25″ white panel, creating a coordinated look from front to back.
By repeating the same basic design elements, I was able to make several unique graduation cards quickly while maintaining a cohesive style. If you’d like to add a little extra flair, consider incorporating an embossed panel, colored cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon, or other embellishments that coordinate with the graduate’s school colors. These simple additions can elevate your card design without adding much extra time to the process.

Elevate Your Graduation Cards with a Shaker Design
Want to take your graduation cards to the next level? Using the same basic supplies, you can create an eye-catching shaker card that adds dimension, movement, and a fun interactive element to your design.
To create this graduation shaker card, I started by trimming one of the Graduation Flashcards and layering it onto a piece of gold cardstock, which was attached to the card front. Next, I used a frame die from my stash and die cut five identical frames. Four of the frames were stacked and adhered together to create the depth needed for the shaker compartment.
Before sealing the shaker, I added graduation-themed confetti inside the opening. I then attached a piece of acetate over the stacked frames to contain the confetti and finished the shaker element by adhering the final frame layer on top. This creates a clean, professional-looking window that allows the confetti to move freely inside the card.
To complete the design, I stamped and die cut a graduation cap and diploma from the Hats Off Stamp & Die Bundle and added them as accents around the shaker panel. The result is a festive and interactive handmade graduation card that looks much more elaborate while still using the same core supplies and design elements.
