Using the Champion In The Making stamp set, Baseball Vibes Flash Cards, and the Let’s Play Ball 6×6 Paper Pack from Pajama Crafter Stamps, this card celebrates America’s favorite pastime with plenty of personality and interactive fun.
Whether you’re creating a birthday card for a baseball fan, a coach thank-you card, Father’s Day card, or simply cheering on your favorite player, this design is sure to be a home run!
Playing Along with Craft Roulette
One of my favorite ways to stretch my creativity is by playing along with Craft Roulette. Every week you’re given four random parameters that challenge you to think outside the box—and this week’s combination definitely had me thinking!
The Parameters:
Project: Flip Flap Card
The interactive flip flap mechanism creates an exciting surprise when the recipient opens the card.
Colors: Tartan
Rather than traditional plaid cardstock, I incorporated the gorgeous argyle pattern from the Let’s Play Ball Paper Pack, which fits perfectly within the tartan theme while keeping the baseball aesthetic front and center.
Element: Time
This one required a little creativity! Instead of using clocks or watches, I interpreted “time” through the inside sentiment:
“Tis THE Season”
What season could be more exciting than baseball season?
Random: Bow
The tiny black bow tied around the foam finger adds just enough detail to satisfy the challenge while creating an adorable focal point.
Sometimes the most unexpected parameters produce the most creative results!

Why I Love This Interactive Card
The front of the card immediately catches your eye with the adorable baseball player, layered patterned papers, dimensional foam finger, and baseball stitching background.
But the real surprise comes when the flip flap panel opens, revealing a stunning foil sentiment reading:
“Tis THE Season.”
The holographic foil shines beautifully against the clean white background while the bold red striped paper frames the reveal perfectly. It’s a simple interior that delivers maximum impact.
Interactive cards always make recipients smile because they’re more than just a greeting card—they’re an experience.
