Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a Copic Colored Tent Topper Birthday Card featuring the My Best Friend stamp set from Pajama Crafter Stamps! The tent topper card is an easy way to create some interest while still having your card fit into a standard A2 envelope.
Let’s take a closer look at how to create this fabulous tent topper card!
Cutting Papers
I began this card by getting all the paper pieces cut and ready.
You will need a card base that measures 4 ¼ x 8 ½ inches long scored at 4 ¼ inches, (in the middle of the 8 ½ inch side).
The Birthday Bash paper pad piece used to decorate the front is cut to create a 4-inch square. I also cut a 4-inch square out of white cardstock to put on the inside to allow you to write a personal message.
Die cut a circle out of cardstock for the backing of the Circle Peek A Boo Die.
I also added a strip of the Birthday Bash paper ¾ x 4 inches with a mat ¼ inch larger out of the cardstock.
Stamp and Color the images
After all the card pieces were cut and ready I stamped out the largest dog from the My Best Friend stamp set and the present from the Forever 29 Cake stamp set 3 times to add to the front of the card to help convey the birthday theme. I stamped all the images onto Marshmallow Coloring Paper and colored all the images with Copics. After the images were colored, I fussy cut them out. I also stamped the Happy Birthday from the Forever 29 Cake stamp set on the white cardstock for the inside.

Dog: YR27, YR24, YR23, YR21, R21, E27, E04, R27, R24
Presents: B05, B04, B02, R85, R83, R27, R24, YR07, YR04
Finish the Card
To finish the card, I have found it is easiest to use an A2 envelope to figure out the placement of the topper so it will fit easily. Remember when adding adhesive to only add it to the bottom of your topper.
I added all the elements to the card popping up the dog and presents for some dimension. The final step was to add some white gel pen details to the Copic colored images.
