Sneak Peek

We have a new holiday release coming up this weekend. I must admit, our new Christmas and Winter images are pretty fantastic. There is a mix of all styles in this new release, some sketched images, a little bit of collage, and a lot of beautiful!

Studio time is rare, but this evening I was able to spend some of time in my craft room and I came up with a simple but I think elegant card using our latest red rubber release. All new images will be available this Sunday, so stay tuned!

This card was quick and easy to do. First I stamped the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus with VersaFine black ink onto watercolor paper. I then painted in as shown in hues of blues and red. I then trimmed my stamped art leaving about .25″ border. I love to age things, so I decided to pull out my Old Paper Distress Ink. I edged as shown using my foam applicator.  I then mounted onto red card stock. Next, I pulled out a 3″ doily, and aged that as well. I then trimmed out a border with my Martha Stewart punch and aged it as well. I then made the little puffy flowers out of coffee filters and secured with a brad. I layered all together as shown. Card size is 4.75 by 6.25 when finished. Happy Stamping! ~ Nicole
