Hey Y’all!!! It’s day 7 of the new Southwest Release at Prickley Pear Stamps and I’m showcasing the Kokopelli – Just Dance stamp set. It’s so fun. Can’t you just hear the music and see them dancing. Get up out of your chair and join us! And be sure to check out the fun stamp sets and dies in the new release! All the details for making this card yourself are below (including links).
I started by stamping the the dancers on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I didn’t need to use any Copic Markers on this card.
The set comes with 5 images and 6 sentiments. You can mix and match them in so many great combinations. Here is the link for the clear Kokopelli – Just Dance stamp set & matching dies:

PAPER & EVERYTHING ELSE
• Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb Paper
• Card Stock – Basic Black, Basic White
• Patterned Paper – Back to Basics
• Embossing Folders – Chevron
• Water Based Dye-Inks: Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Gray Granite
• Foam Tape, Black Enamel Dots
The card base is from basic black. The base is 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ on the long side. Make sure you use your bone folder and burnish the fold well so it doesn’t tear the fold.
The layer on top of the black is basic white. The white is 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″. Obviously you can make it whatever size make you happy. It’s glued to the card base with wet glue.
Next in line is a piece of some chevron patterned paper I had. It’s cut to 5 1/4 x 4. I love the striking contrast between black and white.
The next section of layers has three different pieces. The back layer is a piece of white card stock cut to 4 1/2″ x 3″. For the 2nd layer I cut a small piece of white card stock to 2 7/8″ x 2″. I used the heart of musical notes to create a background with Distress Oxide inks of Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Gray Granite. It is wet glued to the white card stock on the top. For the 3rd layer I cut a piece of white card stock to 2 7/8″ x 2 5/8″. I used a chevron embossing folder for more dimension. This piece is wet glued on top of the other two layers at the bottom.
Busy Box Blends has such fun ribbon. I wet glued a piece of ribbon around the white background and popped the entire piece up. with foam tape.
The three dancers are wet glued on top of the top layers with black dots for added fun.
‘Dance like no one’s watching’. We should all learn to do that. I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and fussy cut it out like a banner. It’s popped up with foam tape.
