The card base is from Pumpkin Pie. The size is 10″ x 5″ scored at 5″ on the long side. Just a tip I learned. Make sure you use your bone folder and burnish the fold well so it doesn’t tear the fold.
I cut another piece of Neenah paper 4 7/8″ x 4 3/4″. First I embossed it with the Old World Paper embossing folder. I used the Villainous Potion Distress Oxide ink to color it by simply dragging the ink pad across the paper. It only touches the raised edges. Looks pretty cool I think.
The mountain scene was fussy cut very closely leaving only a little white paper showing around the edges and glued down to the bottom edge of the Distress Oxide ink background. These together were glued down to the Pumpkin Pie layer.
The sentiment is one of 10 sweet sentiments from this new set. I chose ‘The Darkest Hour is Just before Dawn’. So true!
I sure do love that background and all the bright colors. You know I’m just a bright girl.
