The card base is cut from Real Red card stock. It’s cut to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ on the long side. Just a tip I learned. Make sure you use your bone folder and burnish the fold well so it doesn’t tear the fold.
I cut a piece of patterned paper from the Gingerbread & Peppermint paper pack. It’s 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and glued flat to the card base. I made on more layer from Real Red and another piece of patterned paper. They are 5 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ & 5 1/8″ x 2 3/8″. I popped this layer up on the bottom of the card in the center with foam tape after I tied a piece of ribbon into a knot around it.
The PEACE word is popped up on the top with foam tape as well. Just center it between the edges all the way around.
I printed the image of the earth and the words ‘On Earth’ with Real Red ink. Fussy cut the ‘On Earth’ out like a banner and used a circle die to cut out the earth itself. The earth is glued down under the ribbon with wet glue and the ‘On Earth’ sentiment is popped up with foam tape.
And of course I added some dots. You know I’m all about shiny things. Merry Christmas Y’all! And Peace On Earth!
