Lovely Bouquet Stamp Set: Splitting Images for Stunning Card Video Tutorial

Hello crafty friends, it’s Rick back with you again this week to share another fun little project with you. Today I am sharing how to color a large floral image in a fun summer color palette using the Lovely Bouquet Stamp Set. We will also be using the large floral image from the Lovely Bouquet Stamp Set to create a stunning split card design.

To create my card today I stamped out the large floral image from the Lovely Bouquet Stamp Set on alcohol marker friendly paper in alcohol marker friendly ink. Once I had the image stamped out I did color some of the floral images in a red orange shade and the others I colored in a dark coral color. I repeated these two summery shades through out the card design.

For the leaves I colored them in two different blue green shades. One set of leaves I colored slightly darker than the other. I wanted the darker leaves to appear as if they were in the background or in shadow more. You would be surprised what you can achieve when you just switch out one marker.

Once I had the Lovely Bouquet image all colored I attached half of the stamped and colored image to my card base and cut it in half. I then attached the other half to the bottom left hand side of the card base. This allowed me to get more real estate from the one image. All I had to do after that was add the additional single cabbage roses that I had stamped and colored along with a few of the leaves.
