My favorite memory is of my mom sewing. She always made me the hippest clothes! One time she made a full size sail for the Sunfish sailboat that my dad found at a garage sale!
My favorite memory is of my mom baking in the kitchen. She loved to cook and try new recipes and we enjoyed her creations.
I could write an essay right now. 🙂 My favorite memory of my mom is of her buying my sister and I paper dolls. Back then, they had to be fussy-cut out (they now come with perforations to make it easier). I can remember going to bed at night so excited, because I knew in the morning there would be a pile of new paper dolls and clothes, all cut out and waiting for us to play with. Knowing now that she must have spent hours cutting them all out…. that's love. Something so simple meant so much to me, and I'll never forget it. Thanks for the chance to win, but also for the opportunity to reminisce! 🙂
My favorite memory of my mom is always being that special mom that was the only room mother for my class. She went above and beyond for my class through all our elementary school programs and parties. She made it super special with all her craftiness (which is where I get mine) she had us made and all the costumes she sewed for our school plays.
