Hey everybody! Okay, the weeks are just disappearing and this is the last Monday in February! What the heck?! Leslie here, sharing an inspiration project featuring the oh-so-gorgeous Lovely Bouquet stamp set! This image is amazing and I have really enjoyed creating with it. A coral and green color palette spoke to me this time and I totally love how it turned out!
I cut a gatefold card base from white cardstock along with layering panels from graduating red to coral papers in my stash. Rather than cut a chunk out of the front flap to create the split panel, I scored each half of the gatefold. Then I folded the flaps backwards which left a vertical split. Front and inside sentiments and the large rose image from the Lovely Bouquet stamp set were stamped on white cardstock and colored with alcohol markers. Next, I fussy cut the image, adhered it to another panel, and fussy cut it a second time. I trimmed the sentiment and popped it up on a foam strip. Then I added a small magnet closure (another option would be a belly band) and some gemstones. I added the sentiment to the inside panel along with a heart from the ephemera sheet in the paper pack, which completed the card.
