New Guest Designer – Christina

We hope to be hearing from her on a monthly basis. I had the opportunity to meet Christina last weekend in Mesa Az, ad the 11th Annual Rubber Stamp Events Mesa Show. Not only is she super talented, she is really sweet! And i have a beautiful card that I want to share with you of hers. And I am sure you will will be seeing more!

In Christina’s words

First I placed the Doodlebug textured paper 3/4 the way down base card.
Then placed Bazzill textured black under that.
I placed small amounts of glue under the black parts of the transparency and placed that on top of the stamped sentiment and cut edges to even it up.
Then mounted overlay onto a piece of the Bazzill black.
Mounted that piece onto a piece of plain white card stock.
Then mounted that onto a piece of Bazzill black.
When I got the ‘stacked’ look I was going for, I mounted that entire piece slightly above where the Doodlebug embossed paper and the Bazzill black meet. I used foam tape to raise it up so it doesn’t lay flat to the card.
I then took a piece of ribbon and place it over where the embossed white and the black meet to hide the ‘seam’.
I made a bow out of the same ribbon and glued it just under the sentiment.

Products used :
Bazzill dot textured black
Doodlebug embossed white
Black glitter ribbon
Fall/Halloween ATC transparency overlay
Sentiment stamp
