Hello there! It’s Michelle here today with a fun tutorial for you! Let’s think outside the box and UN-mask Spring!!
In the store you will find four little images that I knew exactly what I was going to do with as soon as I saw them!
The names of those images, you ask?! Tribal Masks 1, 2, 3 and 4.
I will have some cards soon using these images in a more traditional way…but I have spring on my mind…and so these very fun an fabulous flowers were born!
Check these babies out, all dolled up with Copic Markers and a bit of white gel pen!
Double them up for a bit more fun! The possibilities are endless!
So how do you make them you ask?! Check out the quick tutorial below and see one more fun project!
Stamp each image out FIVE times and color as desired. You get a peek here of my messing coloring practices, but since I’m cutting them out it doesn’t matter! More time to make different flowers!!
Dress them up with white gel pen as desired.
Next I Cut out and folded each petal over a ruler to add dimension. Then, using some circle punches from my scrap bin and a few glue dots, I assembled my flowers. Remember…depending on which end you stick to the middle, you will get a TWO different looks from each mask! I reversed the order of the petals for this final set of flowers!
Ooh, so very fun on their own….and so different looking than the same masks used in the above cards!

This is so clever! I would have never thought to use these masks as flower petals. I just might have to get me some tribal masks!!
