You are LOVED!

Today I have a Bible journal card project. Easter is this weekend and I really wanted to do some Bible journaling. I decided to use my pocket Bible so it was easier to create a journal card rather than journaling in my little Bible.

I wanted to journal John 3:16. “For God so loved the world,[a] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” When studying this verse, I found this statement and it really resonated “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us.” That idea is what I decided to journal.

My card uses a Prickley Pear Stamp Crosses 2 and Cross Die with a little Love and Prayers thrown in.

I had a leftover cross from my last play with the Crosses 2 set and I didn’t want it to go to waste. I die cut another cross and inked it with Chipped Sapphire Oxide Ink so it could act as a shadow for my main cross. I then dug through my stash and found some mixed media backgrounds. I matched one up to my cross and cut it to fit in my Bible (about 3″x4″) I added a pieces of Washi, doodled a border and added the sentiments to bring my idea together.

I hope you have a blessed Easter full of family and fun but above all remember the Love of Jesus Christ our Savior on this day – it is something to REJOICE!

Thanks for stopping by!
