Today I’m sharing a card that means a lot to me. I used the empowering Hard Fought stamp set from Pajama Crafter Stamps—a beautifully designed set featuring bold boxing gloves and heartfelt sentiments of strength and perseverance.
This month’s Pajama Crafter Stamps sketch inspired my layout. I created a background using Distress Inks in shades of orange and purple, the awareness ribbon colors representing the two cancers my friend’s husband is currently battling. After blending the colors together, I added a few splashes of water for soft, organic texture, then cut the background into three panels to echo the sketch design.
The boxing gloves are colored in bright orange, representing a type of cancer he is fighting, and I added the sentiment “Hard Fought” as a reminder of courage through every round.
This card is more than paper and ink—it’s a small way to send strength and hope to someone walking a tough road.

Did you mask the background or create background and cut in strips and add to base. This is such a terrific card
