Hip-Hippo Hooray!!!
There is a brand new Pajama Crafter hippo stamp set and I am so here for it! I am in love with the Christmas Hippo Ho Ho Stamp Set, so when this amazing set was released I was so excited! It’s hard to get enough of these cuties! I made three cards to share today because I had to use all the hippos in this Hippo Hooray stamp set!

This first card is full of bright colors and fun layers because this hippo is happy and celebrating! I colored him with my Copic markers and used a Mini Wobbler to attach him to my card-base. Now he can dance with joy for the recipient! I finished off my card with Opalescence Confetti because what celebration is complete without confetti?

This next card is also a celebratory card….so yup, more bright colors. To set the birthday scene and create my background for this cutie, I started by using a balloon embossing folder from my stash. I cut a circle out and mounted the embossed piece onto my card-base with foam tape. But not before tucking in those fun papers, creating a festive space for the hippo to hang out in. I had fun accessorizing my hippo with the hat and balloon stamp and now he is definitely ready for a birthday party! Again, I finished off my card with the Opalescence Confetti mixed with some sequins from my stash.

My final card is more on the sweet side of things. Soft and subtle with a cleaner design. This adorably sad looking hippo seems like he is pining away for someone he loves. So I played off that idea. I created a spot for him to be lying down using the sentiment and some lace….and I tried to create a dreamy feeling with the heart paper and the Mi Amor Shaker Bits.
