Happy October 1st Everyone!
OMG, I just got my hands on some fabulous dies from DIES DIRECT! Their Scalloped Coved Rectangles! These dies are oversized, perfect for scrapbooking and card projects! I love the size borders that they give when layering together. You get 6 solid, fully backed dies for only 39.95. That is a huge savings compared with their competition! You all should check them out, they have some other great shapes to offer. One of my FAVORITES is their French Flair. Still waiting to get my hands on that one!
Here is what I did:

| First I pulled out my Scalloped Coved Rectangles. I cut the smallest out with an orange DP, then went the next size up in black card stock, then cut my final shape using a pumpkin card stock. I aged this layer with Tea Stain distress ink. I then stamped my Kitty in the Moon scene with black Versafine ink and painted in with watercolor paints. I stamped out my large swirly bat on the orange DP and trimed leaving a little bit of a border. I layered all together and mounted as shown. These dies made my card quick and easy to do! |
