Now for the eye candy! This set is just so much fun and very versitale. I had a hard time choosing which stamps to use when creating my cards. And I could not decide on Christmas or Fall, so I chose to do one of each.
One of my all time favorite things to do is to make paper ornaments. You will never see me shying away from the opportunity. And well… we have this great ornaments set… so I could not resist. This little ornament was so quick and easy to make. I first cut 2 ornaments from watercolor paper and my PPRS Ornement Die. I then stamped and embossed in black. Next, I pulled out my blue, green and purple distress inks. I laid color onto a tefflon sheet and lightly spritzed with water. I then dipped my embossed image into the ink and swirled it around. Once dry, I highlighted the bubbles in the ornament with copic markers. I finished with beaded trim, and backed with the second ornamet die cut. The orament has a nice weight because of the watercolor paper and beads.
And just to show how versitale this set is, we made a card as well. Robins egg blue, brown and purple hues give this card a vintage twist to this holiday card and the die and stamps made it quick to create.
