Now for the eye candy! This set is just so much fun and very versitale. I had a hard time choosing which stamps to use when creating my cards. And I could not decide on Christmas or Fall, so I chose to do one of each.

I had fun with this card. First I pulled out my scalloped die from Dies Direct. I love the over-sized format of their dies, they are perfect for standard sized cards. To create this card, I first pulled out a sheet of holiday Christmas scrapbook paper, and cut around the shape (there were flower like designs in the paper). I then pulled out my Martha Stewart punch and created the red lace border. I backed with sage paper. Next I stamped the tag, (you are getting a sneak peek of our new Christmas Red Rubber Release here) and the May Your Joys be many stamp with Forest Green Distress in on sage card stock. I then cut my cardinal and stamped the musical wheat flourished cardinal onto the die cut. Before layering all together, I distressed a doily with Walnut distress ink.  I layered all together as shown, and finished with Prima flowers and a brad. I lov ethe collaged look that was achieved.
This card was super fun and easy to do. The musical wheat cardinal is my favorite in the set as you might be able to tell! I stamped the musical background (included in the clear stamps set) with walnut ink. I then tore around the image and distressed a bit. I then cut out the cardinal with my Cuttlebug, and stamped the cardinal into the die cut with brown walnut ink. I folded a doily and aged it a bit with Old Paper and Mahagony Distress Ink. Again, I pulled out my Martha Stewart punch and made a lacy ribbon for trim. I used another Martha Stewart punch for the bottom front portion of the card. I layered all together onto a white polka dotted patterned scrapbook paper as shown and finished with red and brown prima flowers. The dies and coordinating stamps made creating this card quick and easy and elegant! Card measures at 4.25″ by 3″ when finished.

Beautiful cards! Love the cardinal – they are my favorite bird. And I think this is the first stamp I've seen using one.
